Cartographic model

LittleThumb developed specific tools and a new cartographic technology suitable for pedestrian environments. This technology represents all spaces in an environment as inter-connected and fully configurable objects. It is based on a hierarchical architecture allowing various sites to be linked in order to provide seamless navigation while keeping their autonomy.

Compilation

The cartographic model is associated with a compressed binary storage format "LittleStone" allowing the cartographic data to be compiled and stored on small memory spaces like NFC tags.

In case the cartographic data size is too big to fit on a single NFC tag, it can be distributed on more tags using a specific process. The user then has a detailed view of the surroundings and a general view of the complete environment.
